Spatial layout:  Bathroom of 8 square meters has sufficient space to place the bathtub and shower enclosure, but special consideration need to be made in the overall layout, to avoid the situation of congestion. Bathroom space can be divided according to different demands, but it is imperative to observe the rules of separating dry area from wet area. A dresser or a dressing space can be divided from the whole bathroom as well. In view of specific layout, you should pay much attention to some specical measurements. The distance between the bathtub and the opposite wall should at least be 1 meter, which is a reasonable distance to walk around. Even if the bathroom is quite narrow, a space for people to walk about should be left. Generally speaking, the distance between bathtub and other wall or object should be at least 0.6 meters. Installing a bathroom basin convenient in use occupies an area of 0.9 m × 1.05 m, which allows a medium-sized basin and one person washing aside.

Bathroom cabinets: bathroom cabinet is a piece of bathroom furniture with most powerful storage function. Bathroom cabinets are of various styles available in the market to meet needs of different families. In addition, the space on both sides of the bathtub is irregular, therefore a custom-made cabinet with right size can be installed here, to make better use of space. Of course, you can also select other storage cabinets that can be used to collect objects as well as decorate space, but the material of the cabinets must be waterproof.

Makeup mirrors: Make-up mirror, different from the mirror in bath area, is smaller in specification and more refined. You can directly put on makeup after shower instead of returning to the dresser in bedroom. In addition, when the light in bathroom is too gloomy to make-up, the supporting light will be necessary.

Chairs: 8-square meters bathroom can accommodate a small number of simple furniture. A chair beside the tub can hold towel, hang clothes, and stack magazines. The materials of chairs must be waterproof. It is better to choose chairs with no handrails and which are easy to move in the bathroom. In addition, laundry baskets or potted plants can be taken into account in the bathroom decoration.
