How Much Did You Spend On Your Remodeling?

I want to remodel my kitchen, and replace all the tile, paint, bathroom counters and doors in my house. I want to put in a cement patio and put it stone tiled bathtub/showers.
I don’t want to add on to the house, or tear down any walls, I just want to give the house a face lift since it was made in the 80’s and looks VERY 80’s.
I want to spend about $40,000 to $50,000
Any advice?

I did all you want to do, replaced the appliances, sink, hardware, lighting fixtures in the kitchen and had a wood patio cover constructed and came in around $30,000. I think you have an adequate budget to accomplish your plans. Have fun!

I spent $5K on a small bathroom and that didn’t have tile.
My sister spent $12K on her whole kitchen a few years ago.
I’d say you’re going to spend the whole 50 grand.
Make sure you have a good contractor or reputable workmen and keep an eye on everything. Sometimes you can save money if you go out and buy the materials and just have them install.
Good Luck.
